Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer's Enterprise ServiceNow Platform infrastructure
  • Provide day-to-day O&M support to application developers and users of the ServiceNow platform
  • Perform regular ServiceNow security patching and release upgradesMaintain and add new capabilities to the core ServiceNow platform to enhance functionality for tenants
  • Perform scans/create documentation in support of Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) process
  • Develop, test and deploy updates to ServiceNow based on customer requirements
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules; configure Application User Interface and configure workflow
  • Collaborate effectively with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requestsIdentify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods and tools
  • Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
  • Ensure tool configuration consistency across Development, Testing, Integration, and Production environments
  • Participate in on-going production support and end user support
  • Document testing and maintenance of system correctionsResearch, understand, and develop using new technologies and standards as needed
  • Research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
  • Participate in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
  • Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph required to start
  • Minimum sixteen (16) years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience with deploying, updating, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure platforms such as EC2, ELB, S3, EBS RDS and KMS

  • Ability to write, update, and deploy Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Cloudformation, CDK or Terraform

  • Experience with AWS Lambda or other equivalent serverless technology for developing and managing scalable platforms

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, ServiceNow GenAI

  • Database Administration (Oracle, MYSQL, MariaDB or Postgres) experience

  • Proficient in GIT for version control and collaborative software development

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies

  • Ability to write scripts in JavaScript, Bash, and Python for automation and software development tasks

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and principles

  • Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment

  • Aptitude and willingness to work with variety of newer emerging technologies/tools as opportunities demand

  • Ability to deliver enhanced functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support within the scheduled time while preserving system integrity requiredHigh degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability to function on this team required

  • Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions

  • Should work toward achieving ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) cert while on task 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Experience with developing and maintaining enterprise container solutions such as Kubernetes
  • AWS Cloud certification
