Responsibilities: 

• Develop and enhance application components related to persistence, security services, application programming interfaces, caching and other key services required to provide application security, performance, and resilience.
• Develop and enhance APIs, caches, and databases to support business use cases and front end development of both browser and mobile applications.
• Implement software and cache/database changes and bug fixes following security and resiliency best practices.
• Follow source code management best practices to ensure appropriate repository management, versioning, and feature release tagging.
• Document and maintain the design of the application backend through architecture diagrams and database designs.

Required Qualifications:   

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in related field 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment 
• Proven experience successfully deploying applications to the Google Play and Apple App Stores  
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Python, FastAPI experience
• At least 2 years of RDBMS experience
• At least 1 year of experience working with the deployment and management of cloud-based applications
• Experience working with AWS: EKS, EC2, ELB, Lambda, VPC, ECR, RDS, KMS, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, and IAM
