Responsibilities: 

• Operate, maintain and deploy a containerized COTS cloud application within an AWS cloud environment 
• Upgrade AWS infrastructure to meet security standards and the demands of new releases of the application 
• Perform system management activities including installing and applying system security patches on a regular basis. 
• Interact with the COTS vendor to communicate release functionality, bug fixes and feature updates 
• Communicate with application users to assist with application functionality and troubleshoot user issues  
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and integration issues that arise 
• Manage and maintain MySQL and MongoDB Databases to include writing SQL and MongoDB queries to assist with application analytics and performance related activities 

Required Qualifications:   

• Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services 
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes 
• Deep understanding of Linux OS 
• Familiarity with DevOps development processes 
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB 
• Understanding of basic cyber security practices and protocols 
• Strong troubleshooting skills 
• Strong communication skills   
• Strong ability to work amongst a team 

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with writing GraphQL queries 
• Exposure to managing CI/CD pipelines  
• Experience with NodeJS  
• Familiarity and experience with the AWS/CLI 
• Experience with security accreditation processes 
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Terraform, Ansible, and Helm charts
