Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

  • Broad system experience and understanding of supporting elements of modern enterprise video capabilities architecture including the OS and relevant networks.
  • Experience analyzing, designing, and developing enterprise video capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to mitigate issues and provide detailed status updates
  • Technical expertise within video communication networks
  • Technical knowledge of Unified Communication (UC) network systems
  • Ability to provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architectures
  • Experience operating Cisco system components
    • Servers
    • Border Elements
    • Communication managers
    • Collaboration provisioning
  • Experience operating VMWare servers
  • Understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and H.323 communication protocols. Experience with SIP-based communication protocols, with a primary focus on Poly Infrastructure / Cisco SBCs and Gateways.
  • Understanding of transport layer security protocols and certificates.
    Experience supporting Unified Communications (UC) solutions, including voice, video, and the supporting infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting real time and on-demand streaming infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting Poly / Cisco / Skype VTC platforms
  • Experience working on an enterprise ticketing system
  • Knowledge of advanced networking fundamentals in support of real time media delivery, including multicast platforms
  • Ability to analyze technical data quickly and communicate with others to resolve issues.
  • Experience in large-scale video migration efforts to include a multi-vendor environment
    Possession of excellent customer service skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Trident V2CDS cross domain solution servers
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS Linux
  • Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
  • Video or UC systems such as Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle, AcmePacket, Polycom
  • Certifications:
    • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Core hours: 9AM-2PM
  • Location: Chantilly, VA
